In a recurring drough context, we choose to adapt the marina to preserve the precious freshwater ressource without constrain our pleasant sailors. We understand that the hygiene on a boat is primordial. In this way, in order for you to be able to clean the boat in any situation, we installed a desalinisation system on the carpark next to the slipway. We propose now an eco-cleaning service.

Indeed, we would like to remove the salt from the sea waters to transform them in freshwater with an ecological technique, answering the standards of the protection of the marine environment.

The whole desalinisation system is integrated in a 40ft container on the carpark next to the slipway. To deliver the freshwater, it is connected to two delivery totems, working with a pre-charged name tag by the pleasant sailor.

The delivery totems work this way :

• One totem on the carpark next to the slipway has a two-lane high-pressure washer : sea water and freshwater, to clean the boat with sea water and rince it with freshwater.
• An other totem is installed on a place of the stopover quay, allowing boats until 20m long to take place. It has a two-lane high-pressure washer as well : sea water and freshwater, to clean the boat with sea water and rince it with freshwater. This totem is also equipped with delivery spot of freshwater to supply the professionals of the marina and the ECOTANK boat. When you take an appointment to pump your waters, you have a free access to a high-pressure washer which delivers freshwater for 10 minutes for you to rince your boat during the operation.

Concerned to preserve the environment and the sea since its creation more than 30 years ago, Port-Fréjus is rewarded with the « Blue Flag » label (since 1993) and the « Clean Harbours » and « Ports Propres actifs en biodiversité » certifications (since 2011 and 2019).

In keeping with this environmental approach and to preserve the waters quality in the marina, we propose to our pleasant sailors a free ECOSERVICE by ECOTANK.

So this ECOSERVICE propose the collect of :

• Liquid pollutants : black waters, grey waters, bilge waters (except destruction costs)
• Solid pollutants : household waste and others

The ECOTANK boat come directly to your boat to do the operations, even if you’re not on board !

This ECOSERVICE ensures also the waters cleaning and keeps a close watch on possible pollution.
